Sending Love One Card at a Time
The Valentines Day Project is a year round ministry of love. We meet monthly, April through November to prepare the card kits. In early January, the kits are distributed to makers for assembly and a heartfelt, handwritten note. Completed cards are collected, packaged and delivered to retirement communities and directly to mailboxes in the tri-state area and beyond!
About Us
The Valentines Day Project was started in 2014 by the Mother's Club of St. Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia, PA. That first year we were happy to brighten February 14th for approximately 500 senior citizens with handmade Valentines. The outreach has grown over the years, and we were delighted to send love to 4200 senior citizens in 2023!
